Jewelry Making Precious Metal Clay
Each class is one (1) day. 9 am to 5 pm with a 1-hour lunch break.
You are the designer! In this fun jewelry making workshop, you will learn the basic techniques of Precious Metal Clay (PMC). PMC is a revolutionary new clay-like material that can be molded, sculpted, carved, and shaped to create unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry. The microscopic particles of precious metals, silver or gold, are suspended in a pliable organic binder that "burns out" when fired, transforming your sculpted piece into pure precious metal. In the orientation class, you will begin to plan your project and decide on the amount of materials you will need. The project workshop includes a practice session to familiarize you with the handling of PMC and gives you the opportunity to work on your unique design.
Leave the workshop with one or more beautiful finished pieces. It's fun, it's easy and you will be amazed at the results!
This workshop is limited to five students so that individual attention can be given to each person.
